Project 2 - TRAINING OF 51 MEMBERS OF THE ARHUACO COMMUNITY TO BECOME ASSISTANTS IN INDIGENOUS HEALTH AND PROMOTORS OF HEALTH

This project focuses on the education and training of 51 leaders of the Arhuaco community to become Assistants in Indigenous Health and Promoters of health. These selected individuals will be familiar with both traditional as well as western medicine and will therefore be able to implement an integral healthcare service for their own communities within the arhuaco territory of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, ministry of Cesar, jurisdiction of the municipalities of Pueblo Bello and Valledupar.
